OPIS is seeking an experienced content marketer to develop and manage a global content strategy that drives brand awareness, website traffic, social media interaction, press citations and sales lead generation. You will collaborate with many internal stakeholders, including news, sales, product, executive management, customer service, creative/graphic design, and marketing. This role is at the core of the company’s inbound marketing initiative, and your teammates will rely on your creativity and project management skills every business day. You will report to the VP of Marketing.
Establish a calendar to ensure consistent content production.
Manage the production and distribution of white-papers, reports, case studies, infographics, eBooks, webinars, videos, podcasts, and other content resources to engage and educate target prospects and customers.
Manage the marketing website blog, posting new content frequently to optimize search hits and increase site visits.
Match content with market segments and buyer personas, helping accelerate the customer lifecycle and nurture prospects to close.
Edit content generated by internal thought leaders, and write original content as needed.
Re-purpose existing content into various formats and channels to extend promotional life.
Supervise outside content creators and curation services, as needed, editing to ensure brand and messaging consistency.
Set success metrics and track progress using qualitative and quantitative data.
At least five years of hands-on experience producing digital content across channels and platforms/
Excellent communication skills, both written and in-person. You deliver your ideas clearly and confidently.
Experience producing digital content across channels and platforms.
A dual-minded perspective: You’re creative and a strong writer/editor who’s also comfortable with process, scale and data analysis for decision-making.
A self-starter who loves collaboration. You’re comfortable working independently as well as influencing cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools (preferably HubSpot and/or Eloqua) and CMS platforms (preferably WordPress)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
