Data Strategy also provides equity exchange data from 43 countries and creates content on markets, companies and people to help users identify business opportunities and manage risk.

Job Summary

The position sits within the Data Solutions group, a team that offers screening and remediation services to our clients globally. We screen individuals and entities against Dow Jones Risk and Compliance content and/or Factiva negative news.

The KYC Analyst Data Solutions prepares, executes and delivers screening projects to our clients and acts as a point of contact for Sales and our clients based in the US and EMEA. You will work remotely with a team based in Singapore which requires you to collaborate with different parties across different time zones. In this role you will also be responsible for ensuring quality across all reports the team delivers, tracking KPI’s and providing training to stakeholders if and when needed. This role requires a high level of ownership and independence, critical and creative thinking and excellent organizing and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with sales and clients to obtain and clarify project requirements

  • Provide quotes and assist with RFPs, SOW and any contractual documents

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives and agreed timelines

  • Facilitate training to remote teams on screening/remediation practices and procedures

  • Perform quality control on any work done by counterparts and project teams

  • Independently carry out false positive reviews on alerts returned from screenings

  • Track and document KPI’s

  • Review end-to-end processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant working experience in the AML/KYC industry

  • Familiar with AML typologies, experience with name (or transaction) screening in banking environment will be preferred

  • Experience with Factiva, Dow Jones Risk and Compliance (or similar products) are considered an advantage

  • Fluency in English is essential

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency by responding immediately to escalated issues and rapidly changing priorities

  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy under pressure situations

  • Motivated, results driven and able to work independently and be part of a remote team

  • Must be a proactive self-starter who values personal accountability and ownership, and thrives, working under limited direction

  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with senior management

  • Strong problem solving ability coupled with the ability to make decisions autonomously
