The role of the VP, Agency & Development will drive and new/existing partnerships and solutions revenue within external Media Agencies . This role entails developing a deep understanding of both the agency AND potential new client business in order to be an influential thought partner. This role will also oversee the development of sales staff, helping to iterate best practice across our sector teams.
This position will oversee a development lead and will report to the Chief Commercial Officer working closely with regional counterparts.
Partner with media and creative agencies to establish a collaborative relationship in order to achieve new business
Develop thought leadership on agency business
Set both long term and annual goals for the Agency partnership and strategy
Accountable for the construction of a strategic plan to drive new revenue from Agency relationships
Accountable for providing timely and accurate forecasts of sales opportunities and pipelines
Align with cross functional teams like Strategic Account Planning, Media Sales, Marketing, Solutions and Media Platforms and Products to ensure Agency expectations are exceeded
Deliver and demand the highest levels of service by partnering with cross regional teams to align objectives, improve relationships and processes
Work within a matrix structure to bring in the right expertise and resources where necessary to deliver customer value - specifically identifying opportunities beyond our media portfolio, opening doors for new conversations
Skills & Experience
10 years of experience in media sales
5-8 years of direct or related agency
Experience in managing large global accounts and delivering the highest service levels to these clients
Experience in managing multi-layer, business relationships
