Only 2.5 years old, the AdTech Products and Services team is leading its own transformation by enabling Dow Jones to efficiently deliver the most effective media experiences. This is achieved by creating industry-first solutions that touch all areas of the digital advertising business, from using our first party data to deliver industry leading targeting products to developing analytics and operational tools that directly support driving revenue for the advertising business.
This role will support the AdTech Product and Services team that focuses the following areas:
Automation tools to deliver operational efficiencies
Analytics tools that support the delivery of top-notch pre and post sale insights for our clients
First party segmentation development that enables best-in-class audience and behavioral based targeting
Suite of ad products inclusive of creative analysis and brand safety tools that we leverage to support client analysis and decision making
The intern will be responsible for delivering a project related to one of the following areas:
1p Audience Segmentation - working with DJ tech teams to identify and deliver valuable new 1p segments for the business
DJ InSite Feature - deliver 1 or more new capabilities to our proprietary audience analytics platform
DASH Feature - deliver 1 or more new capabilities to our proprietary performance reporting system
Media Automation Enhancements - deliver 1 or more new capabilities to our suite of media automation products (including Monty, Sherlock, Buyout Calendar, and Ticketing Queue)
Rising college junior or senior pursuing a degree (or having a passion for) one of the following (or related) areas: Product Management, Digital Media, Online Advertising, Technology
General advertising knowledge preferred, but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate well with others
Ability to take initiative with project objectives and be resourceful with the approach for how the goals are achieved
Ability to manage time well, especially for projects that require shorter turnaround times
