Sr. Manager, DEI Programs
The Training, Culture & Community function of the People team is looking for a Senior Manager for DEI Programs to serve as liaison and lead resource to Dow Jones Inclusive Resource Groups (IRGs). You will report to the Vice President of Training, Culture & Community (Commercial) and be based in our New York City office. You will also lead training for IRG leaders and corporate executive sponsors, and maintain organizational tools, governance documents and communications. You will also be a contributor on DEI for our onboarding, retention and outreach programs to promote inclusivity. You will be part of our DEI culture pillar.
You Will:
Help give direction to IRG leaders to establish structure of groups and schedule of meetings.
Help communicate the goals and mission of IRGs internally.
Work with IRG People team Business Partners on our priorities and opportunities that the IRGs might want to plug in to.
Facilitate nominations and selections of executive sponsors.
Support IRG activities to ensure diversity and inclusion opportunities are well-incorporated.
Help plan an annual meeting of IRGs, coordinating orientation for new and returning IRG leaders and executive sponsors.
Oversee recognitions for several Heritage Month celebrations
Perform other related responsibilities assigned by the Vice President of Culture, Training & Outreach.
You Have:
7+ years of experience in program development or project management
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Proven organizational and administrative skills
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet business needs
Creativity and passion for the work
Collaboration skills
Experience with leading virtual or on site presentations
