Reporting to the VP, Communications Operations, the Creative and Editorial Sr. Manager will shape and oversee creative and editorial direction for the Corporate Communication department and will guide all projects coming out of the creative department. This position is responsible for ensuring the company’s strategic message framework, brand guidelines, and visual & verbal identity are consistent and amplified throughout all Dow Jones corporate communications. for the overall quality of work produced by the creative department.
Responsibilities
Build and lead a best-in-class editorial team to fuel the company’s content and storytelling engine.
Set editorial standards for content tone and style
Manage the creative process from concept to completion
Translate business objectives into clear creative strategies
Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams
Communicate strategy and other creative rationale to communication business partners/ leadership
Skills and Experience
8+ years of editing and creative background, preferably in a corporate environment
Experience leading teams
Storytelling and messaging experience
Excellent written communication
Project management skills
Standard setting ability
Brand management background
Relationship management skills
