The Sr. Director of B2B Communications will spearhead all internal and external messaging efforts for Dow Jones’ Professional Information Business globally. This is both a strategic and executional role responsible for stakeholder management + defining and driving brand awareness for the company’s suite of B2B products, including Factiva, Risk & Compliance, and Dow Jones Newswires.
In this role, you will be a key member of the B2B senior leadership team, working in partnership with internal stakeholders across Product, Sales and Marketing teams. You will be responsible for creating and leading a global B2B communications strategy that will expand awareness for our brands and products. You will also advise on and manage the logistics of all communications, events, speaking engagements and thought leadership opportunities.
Interested candidates should be versed in B2B communications and have strong connections with key trade press and industry analysts.
The role will incorporate an understanding of Dow Jones's mission, priorities and organizational structure to plan and execute messaging across a range of channels in order to deepen employee engagement and external awareness across the business.
Candidates must be enthusiastic and creative as well as skilled in media relations work, such as setting strategy, pitching and monitoring media results. Strong writing and editing skills are a must. Ideal candidates will be solutions-oriented with an ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines at any given time. Superior verbal and presentation skills and the presence to interact with senior executives and journalists are also essential. A record of secured placements/demonstrated experience is ideal.
