Job Description:

Dow Jones’ Product Strategy & Marketing team is responsible for managing product roadmap, collaborating on new product development, and developing product positioning, packaging and go-to-market strategy. We equip the global sales team with timely, accurate and engaging sell sheets and presentations in order to drive revenue and maintain an organized arsenal and effective internal communication channels to deliver these tools and resources to the global sales team.Within this context, the Product Marketing Manager will contribute to a team responsible for:

  • Positioning, packaging, and collateral production for existing and new materials

  • Delivering those materials to sales

  • Providing product-specific expertise on sales calls

The Product Marketing Manager will add value to Dow Jones via 3 core responsibilities:

  1. Position, package, and produce collateral for new and existing products under the direction of Senior Manager, Product Marketing. Key outputs include:
  • General presentations

  • Sell sheets

  • Training sessions

  • Internal and external marketing communications

​2. Provide product-specific expertise specifically for the Tech, Media, & Telco vertical as well as the Dow Jones Ad Tech team.

  1. Contribute to the maintenance of an organized arsenal and effective internal communication channels to deliver these tools and resources to the global sales team

Success for this role will ultimately be measured by the Senior Manager, Product Marketing, sales team and client satisfaction with product marketing knowledge, materials and services.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years marketing experience

  • Skilled at identifying the unique sales proposition of a given product or opportunity and bringing it to life through engaging collateral

  • Comfortable working in highly-matrixed organizations

  • Familiarity with G-Suite and Microsoft Office (particularly Slides and PowerPoint)

  • Design experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) a plus
