WSJ. Magazine is an award-winning publication dedicated to the power and passions of The Wall Street Journal’s global readership. WSJ. Magazine’s authoritative storytelling connects with and inspires arbiters of luxury and style across print, digital and social media.

We’re currently hiring for a Product Marketing Manager to drive desire and demand for WSJ. Magazine - as well as other luxury/lifestyle editorial products - among advertisers globally. The manager will work closely with the publisher of WSJ. and his direct reports to execute timely and relevant sales marketing programs infused with the vision, values and voice of the WSJ. magazine brand and talent.

The position sits within Dow Jones’ Product Strategy & Marketing team, which is responsible for:

  • Managing the advertising product roadmap, collaborating on new ad product development, and developing product positioning, packaging and go-to-market strategy

  • Equipping the global sales team with timely, accurate and engaging presentations, sell sheets, templates and playbooks in order to drive revenue

  • Maintaining an organized arsenal and effective internal communication channels to deliver these tools and resources to the global sales team

  • Providing product-specific expertise on sales calls and soliciting client feedback to improve product set

  • Managing barter partnerships and trade marketing efforts to promote key products to agencies and clients

The Product Marketing Manager will add value via 4 core responsibilities:

  • Evolving WSJ.’s positioning on an ongoing basis to stay in lock step with the publication’s multi-hyphenate readers and discerning advertising partners

  • General presentation and media kit

  • Category presentations

  • Developing smart packaging and pricing strategies to inspire advertisers to take action

  • Single-channel and cross-channel packages

  • Added value opportunities (owned + third-party)

  • New product launches

  • Key marketing programs & partnerships

  • Acting as an externally facing ambassador for the brand at meetings and events with our core team

Success for this role will ultimately be measured by Product Marketing Director, sales team and client satisfaction with product marketing knowledge, materials and services.

What distinguishes strong candidates for this role? You’re an ambitious, creative and proactive marketer that has:

  • 3+ years experience in marketing or sales enablement at a luxury media company or fashion or luxury goods brand

  • Deep understanding of the intersection of media, luxury and technology industries

  • Strong grasp of how luxury brands and influencers communicate today across social, mobile, email, print and event channels

  • Excellent writing and graphic design skills

  • Experience supporting high-profile executives

  • Experience project managing multi-channel marketing programs across internal teams
