Job Description:
Dow Jones is seeking an experienced Paid Social Media Associate who is passionate about quality journalism. The role will support the Paid Media team across multiple campaigns from strategic planning, execution, optimization and analysis of digital marketing campaigns globally. The ideal candidate will have experience in building performance-driven campaigns on Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, reddit, Snapchat and Pinterest focused on driving new subscribers for and engaging current members of The Wall Street Journal.
Ideal candidates will have relevant digital marketing experience across paid, owned, and earned media properties and are experienced in building performance-driven campaigns on platforms including but not limited to Google, Bing, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Snapchat. Recent graduates with internship experience or 1-year of professional experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
Execute, manage and optimize media campaigns and programs for Barron’s both independently and in support of managers
Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail and adherence to budgets
Maintain and organize campaign-specific materials
Handle daily campaign maintenance, including internal questions regarding tracking and status of various campaigns
Run the campaign QA process to ensure accurate campaign implementation, pacing, and performance
Regularly report on campaign performance to cross-functional teams
Developing creative concepts and marketing collateral for global campaigns, working alongside brand and design teams.
Collaborating closely with internal media, creative, brand and operations teams to ensure campaigns are executed on time, meeting their deadlines.
Monitoring campaign and media channel performance—ensuring that campaign goals are met.
Analyzing marketing campaign results and providing post-campaign reports.Staying informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes and new technologies impacting digital marketing, as well as identifying areas of opportunity.
Requirements:
Relevant digital marketing experience, across paid, owned and earned media properties.
Recent graduates with internship experience or 1-year of professional experience are preferred.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A fundamental understanding of media channels and proficiency in their corresponding ad managers
High attention to detail and adherence to budgets are a must
Strong understanding of key social media KPIs, analysis and reporting
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communications and relationship-building skills (Candidates should have history working cross-functionally)
