Marketing Manager, Partnerships
The Partnerships Marketing Manager will create and oversee marketing briefs, manage global multi-channel marketing campaigns and work directly with partners to drive growth. You will be a key contact for stakeholders and partners and help grow the Wall Street Journal partnerships offerings for customers. Your success will be measured by the creativity with which you solve problems and by your accuracy in managing integrated campaigns, their success in regards to specific goals and of course by how well you work with your team members, other departments, and external partners.
Create, manage and execute integrated marketing campaigns for the Wall Street Journal partnership initiatives
Create mutually beneficial co-marketing strategies that leverage both the partner’s and WSJ’s channels, providing joint value
Establish and nurture relationships with partner marketing teams to drive campaign activity across all channels
Develop innovative marketing solutions using multi-platforms including social, video, mobile, display, search, content marketing, CRM, etc.
Write marketing briefs that inspire the creative team and drive best-in-class work
Proactively identify new sources of customer acquisition through emerging platforms, partners, strategies and channels.
Maintain constant awareness of the direction and manage the status of all projects, including anticipating needs and conflicts that unexpectedly evolve.
Work with the Director of Partnerships and other team members to develop decks, presentations, and pitch materials for both internal and client-facing needs
Exhibit strong communication skills by successfully executing that direction with creative teams, and proactively relating the project status to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have 4 - 6 years experience working in marketing, delivering successful global campaigns and managing a variety of different partnerships to drive results
Experience of managing end to end marketing from analysis and planning through to execution of successful marketing programs
Experience working in marketing, with a focus on briefing, executing and monitoring marketing campaigns
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the business
Passionate, Engaged, Organized with exceptional maturity
Analytical mind-set with a passion for user behavior and a relentless drive for performance to optimize marketing campaigns for maximum efficiency and effectiveness
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
Must be a creative thinker who continuously crafts innovative ideas to reach target audiences
Must be on top of new market trends and competitors in the marketing and media industry and can think and execute across digital, social and mobile platforms and to create ideas which shape the partnership strategy
Specific experience in loyalty programs, ticket or event sales, or the travel industry is desirable, but not required.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage workload effectively in a fast paced environment
Customer focused and ability to leverage consumer insights into acquisition and retention of customers
Experience of managing partners
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
