About the Team:
The Wealth & Investing business strategy team is responsible for driving growth and maintaining stability in our consumer business. In particular, we are hyper-focused on the value propositions of our brands, both in terms of how they are unique and how they work together. The business strategy team owns the roadmap for the year, from strategy to execution, and works across different stakeholders to develop a set of projects that allow for maximum impact across all of our revenue line
About the Role:
Reporting to our Director, Business Intelligence, this role will be responsible for developing datasets, dashboards, and automated reports for the Wealth and Investing Business Strategy team. This role will be the primary point of contact for answering complicated questions and powering cross-functional decisions. They will be a creative problem solver who is excited about building innovative solutions on top of existing infrastructure. While Dow Jones has a number of technical data analysts across the org, this role would be the first of its kind in the Wealth and Investing org.

You will
Design and implement data solutions using SQL, Big Query and Snowflake
Mentor junior team members in data best practices
Automate reporting in a scalable way
Translate business requirements into data solutions
Produce cross-functional analyses to power product and business decision making
Iteratively develop team’s infrastructure to improve speed of insights
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Experience
7+ years of experience in data analysis or similar technical data roles
Experience with SQL and strong knowledge of Excel/Sheets required
Familiarity with BigQuery and Snowflake, data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), and web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts and processes
Experience within a digital media org is a plus
Experience analyzing performance across monetization channels
Ability to tell stories with data
Team oriented and collaborative with eagerness to help others

Self starter able to complete projects start to finish
