Our dynamic, global communications team seeks an internal communications associate who will help develop and execute communication strategies and tactics to inspire, engage and inform the company’s 4,000+ employees around the world. This is a hybrid position, based in the Dow Jones headquarters in New York City.
About the Role:
This role will primarily support our HR/People and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teams. We are seeking a strong writer with creative communication ideas, ready to try innovative approaches and new technologies to increase employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is able to manage multiple projects and communication campaigns, draft compelling messages and work cross-functionally.
Develop compelling content and curate story ideas for all our internal communication for a variety of channels including, executive emails, video, podcasts, all-hands meetings, newsletters and the intranet
Work on multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with colleagues globally in a fast-paced environment.
Develop fresh approaches to engage employees and help bring to life communications for benefits, learning and development, rewards and recognition, culture and values and DEI including working with our Inclusive Resource Groups.
Bachelor’s degree in English or Communications
2-4 years of internal communications experience, preferably on a global team
Strong writing and editing skills
Ability to manage projects and take charge of collecting feedback and finalizing documents and messages
Strong networking and relationship building skills
Superior technical literacy and attention to detail
Strong organizational and project management abilities
