Job Description:

Digital Marketing Associate: Barron’s Group.

Barron’s Group is seeking a Digital Marketing Associate to support the strategic planning, execution and optimization of digital marketing campaigns globally. Working within the Digital Acquisition team, this role will be focused on acquiring new subscribers for Barron’s and MarketWatch.

Ideal candidates will have relevant digital marketing experience across paid, owned and earned media properties. Recent graduates with internship experience or 1-year of professional experience are preferred.

Responsibilities: Daily responsibilities will vary. They include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the strategic planning and execution of global digital marketing campaigns, aimed at acquiring new subscribers for Barron’s and MarketWatch.

  • Developing creative concepts and marketing collateral for global campaigns, working alongside brand and design teams.

  • Collaborating closely with internal media, creative, brand and operations teams to ensure campaigns are executed on time, meeting their deadlines.

  • Monitoring campaign and media channel performance—ensuring that campaign goals are met.

  • Analyzing marketing campaign results and providing post-campaign reports.

  • Staying informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes and new technologies impacting digital marketing, as well as identifying areas of opportunity.


  • Relevant digital marketing experience, across paid, owned and earned media properties. Recent graduates with internship experience or 1-year of professional experience are preferred.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong planning, problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve challenges.

  • Ability to manage projects independently and see them through completion— requiring the need to appropriately prioritize tasks and projects in order to hit deadlines.

  • Able to work well within a team — excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • (Preferred, but not necessary) Prior experience working in the online media or publishing businesses would be an advantage.
