Job Description:

Overview of Role

The Creative Production team is the center of excellence for custom programs within The Trust Studio, where they will be producing custom campaigns with creativity, intelligence and integrity for The Wall Street Journal | Barron’s Group. The Creative Production Manager is passionate about producing excellent content that achieves client goals and is informed by our brand’s best practices. This team is dedicated to high-touch client service for creative content execution, acting as the Studio’s client-facing advocates when working with internal creative departments and external creative resources to ensure that our clients needs are understood and satisfied. This group will be focused on the future of the Trust, driving creative solutions and creating ways of working with our clients that drive innovation and excellence. The Creative Production Manager will report directly into the Creative Production Director.

What We’re Looking For

This role lends itself to those with creative sensibilities, excellent client and creative management skills and critical project management expertise. They are highly organized, resourceful, solutions oriented, customer service focused, articulate, and a team player! When leading the custom components of a campaign, the Creative Production Team is solely responsible for producing all creative elements of a client's program and collaborating with the Account Management team to ensure the successful delivery of the overall program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Expert on custom creative and content best practices in all client and internal stakeholder interactions

  • Serve as the critical interface between the Trust and the client on all custom creative and content deals

  • Serving as the main POC in delivering on client’s creative objectives and KPIs, successfully coordinating end-to-end production, execution and optimization of the content and creative assets of the program

  • Act as the gatekeeper to the creative team for all custom deals, proactively developing and implementing solutions based on timings, budget and production feasibility

  • Creating and managing all creative production timelines and managing associated client and internal communications surrounding these timings and steps

  • Managing production budgets and creative resources in alignment with the timeline and program objectives/KPIs

  • Liaising with the new Account Management team to ensure successful delivery of the creative deliverables to support the overall campaign

  • Leverages knowledge of the client and industry as well as best practices for The Trust to identify recommendations and solutions to strategically overcome client challenges and encourage renewals

  • Oversees cross-functional processes across key points of collaboration within the internal studio team, elevating any pain points in internal protocol to identify learnings and achieve resolution

  • Leads all client communications for dedicated campaigns working with internal teams to coordinate smooth client calls, sets expectations, and manages quality of deliverables to deadline

  • Develops & presents recommendations & POVs that drive innovation for the business

  • Effective production management, including timeline development and internal approval, timing updates and milestone communications with client and agency

  • Coordinates with the Account Manager to manage the creative/content portion of weekly client status calls; responsible for creative/content-specific agendas and recaps, summarizing all recos and next steps in writing

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience project managing the production of custom creative

  • 2-3 years of experience in high-touch client management service

  • Strong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple, deadline-driven, projects with cross-functional creative groups at the same time

  • Highly detail-oriented individual

  • General understanding of content performance best practices across platforms and media types

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Solution-minded, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and solve challenges
