Dow Jones Associate Director of Custom Programming in NEW YORK, New York

Job Description:

We are on a mission to define, develop, and deliver incredible custom event solutions that delight our audiences and enable our Dow Jones brands and those of our clients to be smarter. We are storytelling experts - Dow Jones’ most unique competency. We develop original and creative ideas to help meet the clients’ ambitions, we closely and responsibly manage their accounts and we execute successful activations that can be anything from a thought leadership moment at a news event to a standalone bespoke platform showcasing the client’s expertise.

The Associate Director of Custom Programming will work closely with the rest of the Custom Events team on sourcing and managing speaker outreach and communications for all our custom in-person and virtual events. In addition, the Associate Director of Custom Programming will work hand-in-glove with the events team prior to and during the event, to ensure all custom interviews and talks are produced to the high standards and that the client event experience is exceptional. The successful candidate will also work closely with the head of Custom Programming on creating the key program themes, building speaker prospect lists, writing and building programs that are topical and achieve client’s goals. The candidate will be the editorial director on assigned custom programs. They will write the agenda, develop the questions and craft the scripts in partnership with the client.
