This Associate Media Sales Planner job opening is a 4-month fixed-term contract role.
Experience working with an online advertising operations or planning team preferred
Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Solid understanding of Dow Jones product offering and operational capabilities
Support the sales team with sale of digital campaigns securing space availabilities and reservations; entering IO to reserve inventory for all incoming accounts
Produce sales proposals in the order management system leveraging yield tools (does not include creation of client presentations)
Reserve the campaign in the order management system once deal is approved
Work with both sales team and campaign management to timely launch
Work with Media Planners on client optimizations so that revenue is maintained and balanced with client goals including assisting with digital reporting
Be involved in client communication and able to speak to media strategy, product recommendations, and the Dow Jones value proposition
Digital billing and be the main point of contact for digital billing issues/requests
Solid understanding of Dow Jones print products offering and operational capabilities
Support the Sales Team with the sale of print advertising, securing space availabilities and reservations
Perform print booking duties including processing insertions order, dealing with paperwork and pricing adjustments
Act as a liaison with the agency/client to verify insertion date(s), and secure ad materials to be in house
Prepare and send e-tears sheets / print copies
Print billing and be the main point of contact for print billing issues/requests
MEDIA SALES SUPPORT
Client Support & Translation Services: Assist Client Partner’s with client communication including following-up on RFP submissions and IOs. If applicable, translate proposal materials and communication in-language.
System Maintenance: Entering and updating Account and Contact details in Salesforce.
: Prepare packages/mailing for clients including sending Newspaper/Magazine voucher copies & monthly Magazine mailing. Schedule courier services.
: Unpack and organize Newspaper/Magazine deliveries by edition and region. Responsible for recycling older (6+ months) copies.
Telephone & Calendar Support
: Responsible for routing office phone calls and fielding commercial/prospecting calls. Responsible for confirming client meetings in Sales VP/Directors calendar and scheduling meeting rooms/reservations.
